Celebrate Earth Day at Duwamish Alive!
April 21, 2018 @ 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Duwamish Alive! is a twice-yearly volunteer habitat restoration event along Seattle’s only river.
We welcome you to join us and our partners, Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust and Seattle City Light to restore critical habitat, improve urban green spaces and connect with nature at the Duwamish Hill Preserve.
The Duwamish Hill Preserve is a ten-acre park tucked among industry in Tukwila. The hill is a glacial remnant older than Mt. Rainier and offers stunning views. The park is home to rare native plants and features a Puget Sound Salish cultural garden.
