Liza joined ECOSS in 2021, and she is a biracial Filipino-American who speaks Korean, so she is able to serve both the Korean and Filipino communities in her work. Liza mainly connect with communities through her outreach work in projects like the Puget Sound Spill Kit Prevention Program, Seattle Public Utilities’ Zero Food Waste, and SDOT’s West Seattle High Rise Bridge efforts. Her favorite food is Sinigang, a Filipino tamarind soup and her mom’s extra sour version is her favorite of all time!
