Course Description:

This course provides an overview of how to sample typical stormwater pollutants. Class topics include sampling methodology, procedures and other considerations for creating a reliable data set for stormwater management.

With the increase in pollutants of concern and changing water quality criteria, it is important to learn proper sampling techniques to make good management decisions.

  • Learn the importance of sampling data to a stormwater program
  • Identify typical stormwater pollutants of concern and their sources
  • Learn how to take samples in different stormwater conveyance structures
