at Seward Park

Seattle Forest Week is November 7th – 15th! This is the time of year that we get together with our neighbors to kick off planting season. Join us at Seward Park on Nov 11 for a day of planting with community 🌱!

Restoration is a long game, and this day is about seeing why it’s worth it. ECOSS is joining forces with Trans-WA, Seward Park Audubon Center, and Mountains to Sound Greenway Trust for a morning of coordinated habitat restoration, each organization contributing hands and expertise toward a shared goal. Then we’ll break bread together over lunch (lunch provided!) before heading out on a group birding walk, closing the day by witnessing the very habitat our morning’s work is building toward. Plant it, and they will come. 🦉🌲
