Dulce Gomez

Dulce is a Project manager for clean water projects like the King County Rain Wise Multicultural Engagement and Mini Grant Multicultural Stewardship Partners program. Originally from Santa Barbara, CA, Dulce is the eldest child of immigrant parents, Indigenous Mexican, first-generation college graduate and a Tia to a niece that they adore. Dulce graduated with a Ph.D. in Kinesiology from Auburn University and is focused on cultivating and empowering safe spaces for living healthier lives in communities that have been underserved.  They speak Spanish and their favorite food growing up was albondigas – soup, rice, and vegetables all in one.
