
Asiyah joined ECOSS in 2025 as the Clean Water Program Manager, where she works with communities to design and implement green stormwater infrastructure (GSI).
She works to prevent stormwater pollution, reduce impacts from extreme heat and cold, and improve air quality through community-centric outreach, education, and the development of GSI infrastructure projects.
With strong ties to the East African and Muslim communities, Asiyah is committed to creating healthier lives for the underserved communities she serves.
Outside of work, she loves to explore new foods and has so many favorite meals from around the world. Her favorite food is Mawalah and Suqaar — a sweet and savory combination from Somalia
