SUMMARY:203: LID Infrastructure Inspections and Maintenance
DESCRIPTION:This course briefly covers some of the policy drivers\, design considerations\, and regulatory requirements for LID implementation for new and redevelopment projects. \nHowever\, the majority of this class is focused on maintenance operations of LID BMP facilities. The course will provide case studies that act as learning lessons and discussion points in class. This class will have a field portion where we visit LID BMPs and discuss lessons learned. \nLearning Objectives: \n\nLearn National and Ecology motivations in implementing LID\nLearn what information is necessary to determine feasibility of BMPs in given conditions\nExplore lessons learned from case studies and in field site visits regarding installation and maintenance on LID BMPs\n\nPre-registration is required for this workshop.
